The instructions also show the ambi mag release ....
Hmmm, good point. I didn't look that closely. I think it's odd that the ambi selector is included by not the ambi mag release.

The gucci kits are the HK416, Colt Canada C8/IUR and SG55X. That is why only the rich countries and the special forces get them. Small Rich militaries like the Danes, the Dutch and the Norwegian can afford to equip their entire military with either Colt Canada Rifles and HK416.
The French tender is the same thing. The special forces got their 2200 HK416, and the big army will be down to "price" per unit again at the end. IWI cannot even squeeze in the TAVOR because bullpup is not accepted, they have to go with Galil ACE. That is why HK is not sure they should go with the HK416A5 or the G36 with the new handguard. The 416 will lose in price against SCAR, ARX160 and others.

where did you get the idea there are only 250 to sell?
BAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Are you implying a C8 is on par with a 416 on performance? You guys are funny.
Isn't that what Ryan from ammosource said?
As it was stated before, IRG had like six of these in stock. Great way to promote your business.
The HK416 is not what it is all hyped up to be. HK is like snake oil saleman, they put so much propaganda out there to support their products. People buy into the hype. Why don't you ask Vancouver Police Dept about their HK416. They have bolt carriers wearing through the sides of the upper receiver in less than 1000 rounds.
First year production run was slated for 2500 of each model, for a total of 5000.
They had more than 6 and they keep putting up more. But thanks for coming out to play.

HK puts out propaganda??? Since when??
So two industry reps from rival companies recommend Colt Canada rifles and they become shills?
They know what's on the market and how it is really performing.
It's the only way to see if anything on that gun can justify the price tag.
Don't forget. The army doesn't buy the best. They buy the Cheapest form the Company that can produce enough quantity. Lots of better AR platforms but they can't meet the demand. Colt can..for cheap. Great, that would make me feel secure as an operator. I got the cheapest weapon by the company with the most capacity.
