Colt Canada's Next Generation Bullpup Prototype

No one needs 40mm on a personal rifle, outdated idea. For all that weight and give an infantry section a Carl Gustav with 10 rounds of appropriate to the mission type and it will solve any problem a 10 men with 40 mm mounted on rifles will never handle.

"Not Man Fireable" ..... could be a problem :p

The height over bore is needed because of the new helmet design. lol

Soo much garbage and wasting of dollars.

Oh god I tested some of those very early helmet prototypes in 2009. They were garbage.

We don't have enough money for field exercises or for enough ammo to qualify people on C7s anymore but we apparently had enough money to develop that?

What is, and more importantly why is there such a thing as, telescoping ammo?

I get caseless, but what benefit is there to this telescoping stuff?

I believe that there's some saying about a committee of bullpups is a camel designed by a horse?

But I think this is a bullpup designed by a committee of camels, on horse tranquilizers.

What an embarrassment. I also feel for CC getting stuck with this. It must make their brains weep and their hearts shrink to look on that thing.

The rifle...I just don't know what to say. Hopefully it's just to test the concept and the engineers will turn it into something you can use if they go forward with it.

The helmet...wow, I can see a few sore necks the first few weeks you put that thing on your melon and smashed it into a few door frames.

Meanwhile, courses and training are cancelled. We can't afford to maintain our fleet of vehicles, that includes fighting vehicles like the LAV.

Enough said.
