It wasn't that long ago I said I was not interested in owning a pistol, after all every, time I went some where it was legal for me to use one, someone was only to kind to lend me one. I didn't want to bother with all the BS of paper work and ATT's, etc.. Well I recently found a club and range close to home I like and they routinely shoot CF rifle, rim fire and pistol at club meets. Couple that with a "Gentleman" who is patient(he's willing to wait while I get the R in RPAL) plus, I really enjoy shooting the 45, so I committed to buying the Colt Government.
I paid the full price of $450 as dickering with this fellow then asking him to wait while I got my sh*t together, didn't seem right. I inspected the pistol and found no cracks, rust or wear issues(bluing loss and 1 mag that needs to be pulled out are the only real issues). The pistol has a Wilson barrel, has several other mods to the trigger, sights, etc and comes with 2 mags, cleaning kit, tool kit etc.(no box). He says the pistol has 10 to 15k rounds on the pistol with less on the barrel (seller suspects 5k as the previous owner installed the barrel just before he passed away and he has not competed with the pistol).
Cheers
