Colt Gold Cup Still Good?

Not that I'm aware of. Series '70 Gold cups were great, only fly in the ointment, and a small one at that was the collet style barrel bushing. Replace with a well fitted solid (match) bushing and you're good to go. Oh, and replace the rear sight pivot pin with a quality drill bit stem of the correct size instead. The factory pins were known to break.

Rodger Kotanko did that for me, once. I sure miss him.
