I was lucky enough to buy back my old Colt from the friend I sold it to 12 years ago. It's a great shooter and in the same great shape it was when I sold it to him...+100 rounds or so.
Now my dilemma...
Should I leave this beautiful gun the way it is...all original, or do I dive into the custom 1911 crowd and tune it up and put a bunch of fancy parts on it?
I want a tricked up 1911 for sure, but is this the gun to do it to?
I'm kind of leaning towards buying one that is tricked up from the factory.
If you did trick it up, what would you do to it (or any other stock 1911)?
I value your feedback and suggestions....thanks gang!
