Colt King Cobra Target

I like this new ckc target, its my first revolver and I have 100 rounds through it no issues, but my buddy's the ejector rod kept coming loose (minor issue) and the front sight came off (couldn't find it) so check your set screws for it for you guys who have this new revolver.

Finally! Colt gets it right with a 4.25" barrel, not the usual 4.0".

I really like this new revolver! Probably use Safariland "L" frame comp 2's & 3's. Wake up revolver shooters!

The Colt is a K frame gun not an L frame. The one I shot today was nice, small compared to my 686 & GP-100. The trigger was reasonably smooth but when loaded felt heavy. Dry firing oddly made the trigger reasonably light. I put 12 rounds quickly into a six inch circle at 15 yards The trigger broke with little evidence of staking. I don't think it is a $1,500 revolver which is what my friend paid for it. It would make a decent bush gun though when loaded with .357 rounds. I was shooting factory S&B. Recoil was certainly controllable. Because it is so light compared to my GP100 and 686 I would think full load .357 rounds would be borderline painful. I think my Model 10 used represents better value...you pay for the Pony and I get that. The sights on it were excellent with a red FO front.

Nice to see them back in the revolver game.

It was just below freezing and my hands were cold. I want to give the gun another try when April brings some warmth in the sunshine.

Take Care

Bob
PS the cylinder looks like it is K frame size. The gun though has a smaller frame than my K Frame Model 10.

People here make me laugh so much lol

#### talking about a revolver they haven't even handled, probably never saw an original KC or Python and only read about it.
Going crazy because there is some differences between the older model and the 2019 one, I suggest you go and apply at Colt and make things change.
