Which series?
A little while back, I took advantage of an 'opportunity' to acquire four decent quality .22 target pistols. One of the four is a 4 1/2" series 3 Colt Match Target. Since then I was also able to pick up a spare mag for it. Condition I would estimate to be 95% + and if I was going to sell it, I'd be looking at listing it in the $800.oo + range. However, while the day to 'start' thinning things out may be approaching,
it's not here just yet.
This is THE gun I wanna get since day 1. I don't shoot 22lr that much anymore but still this is my peronal Holy Grail...
Johnn: I know only too well the meaning of your last sentence. I have only skirted the idea a couple of times, and it horrifies me.![]()

That's a nice second series 6"bbl Dan. I believe those to be Roper grips. In the USA those grips alone are going for 200-300USD.
I was thinking herretts as well, I have had, and seen a few sets of these at the gun shows, for 41's, colts, Hi standard, etc and you can't hardly give them away Guess it is the "got to be original" thing these days, hence the high prices for orig. s-w, colt grips. But than again ,I just spent a stupid amount of money for walnut grips for my HK P7 gun, but black on black just don't cut it
