COMING SOON: Adler Arms RF224 11.7'' Shorty Tacticool 22 LR Rifle *Open for Backorder*

No problem. Groups seem pretty good too. I’m just using a dot, but no flyers or anything.

With a dot I got every round into a loonie at 25 yards.

It also doesn’t seem sensitive to using the magazine as a monopod; I’ve shot freehand and using the 25 round Ruger mag (blocked to 10) as a monopod, with no ill effect.
Nice!
:)

Hopefully it will break in some with use, I'd be tempted to strip it down and polish the moving parts that have friction.
I believe it’s the hammer spring.

The bolt moves pretty easily when the hammer is cocked. It’s smooth.

When the hammer needs to be reset the bolt is more difficult then some to move back - Probably won’t be getting any light-strikes.

I don’t see it as a fault with the rifle - this one just needs regular to high velocity .22.

Maybe a polish between the bolt and the hammer, is it easy to disassemble?

So, do you like the rifle for what it is (plinker imo)?
Yes
No
Meh ?

I’ve not taken it down yet. It looks like three pins to press out. Maybe I’ll give it a go.

I really like it. So much so that I have a white one coming.

Very compact and solid. Great aesthetics. I’ve been carrying it around my property because it’s so darn shmexy. It’s nice that the Turks (I hope that’s not a pejorative) are building these short rifles now.

I handled and shot one of these at my range yesterday. A fellow shooter had one, and I got to try it out.

It didn’t like the Norma Tac-22 ammo and had a lot of jams. The owner referred to it as a “bolt action rifle” since it got hung up on nearly every shot.

That said - it felt very solid in my hands. The OEM Ruger BX-10 magazines were tight in the magwell, but also hard to insert correctly and quickly. The magazine release is not positioned well and was difficult to operate properly. The rifle shouldered very well.

I tried some Blazer .22 40 grain ammo, and the gun really liked the 28 rounds I was able to put through it, and didn’t skip a beat.

The owner said the Blazer .22 40gr ammo was consistently good out of the rifle. He had a jam or two, but it also could be the Butler Creek magazine he was using.

Hopefully other people will chime in with their experiences.

In my opinion a WMR version of this with 12 or 14 inch barrel would sell like crazy!

Just look at the popularity of the CMR-30 and CZ-512 Tactical.

A WMR version would also be able to accept Ruger BX-15 Magnum magazines which are plentiful and reliable in Canada. I for one have a bunch of them.

Someone needs to suggest this to the manufacturer 😁
