COMING SOON: Adler Arms RF224 11.7'' Shorty Tacticool 22 LR Rifle *Open for Backorder*

Isn't there a minimum OAL of 26" even on rimfire? I'm currently building a shorty 10/22. Dlask has an 8", 9", and 12.5" option. With my stock I need a minimum of 10.5" BL to achieve the 26 OAL. I thought I had to get the 12.5" to stay nr. Any advice on this or links to regulations/ clarity would be great.

Thanks guys
With respect to semi auto rimfire,
26" OAL in the smallest firing setup (or completely collapsed stock if adjustable), with no limitations on barrel length (muzzle devices counts for OAL, not for Barrel length as long as its torqued on and not hand tight/easily removable)

I run a 12.5" CF barrel on a Tuff 22 receiver with magpul stock with just a thread protector. My barrel sits 1/2" past the end of the stock.
It also is beyond the required 26" OAL with all length of pull spacers removed from the stock end if wanted.

You have different options, a pinned stock on a shorter barrel will count, however id suggest running a longer 12-12.5" barrel. This would allow you some grace length to run a chassis or different stocks in the future if you change your mind.
The 9" vs 16" GSG 16 is a good example of this regulation, although now prohibited to buy or use.

22 also does not have any magazine cap limitations, if you're building one from scratch, get a receiver that can take the 22rd TUFF 22 Mags.
You can also mill out your stock 10/22 receiver to accept those mags as long as you don't make any modifications to the magazine itself.

Id also suggest getting the Grey Birch or IBI barrel over the Dlask if you havent picked on yet, they have tighter groupings from my testing, similar cost point.

IF you have any questions feel free to reach out, I've built like a dozen of those between friends and family :D

Building your own custom 22 with all the fancy parts is definitely satisfying and fun but that's not who's buying this.

This is a $429 plinker that looks "tacticool". The custom 22 guns you're talking about would cost 3-5 times that or more. That's not the target market for people buying this gun.

- Anyone know if they fixed the issue of these going bust / full auto ? we have had a few students on rifle courses including 1 instructor have their Adler do some really funny burst / full auto mag dumps and I know North Sylva was taking them back and reimbursing quiet a few shops / customers when we reached out to John over there.

Don't tempt me with another good time

You had to inform me of this issue now iam in i wanna play with this i have a pile of ruger bx 25 mags that run 100% with every type of bulk ammo out there in my little 10 inch ruger takedown i pieced together from a charger i had imported So if this adler wont run on my mags i know beyond a doubt its not a mag issue

I think you missed the part where OP clearly asked about his custom build DLASK? Nobody is talking about the Adler in those post and responses.
Each their own, but id personally pick a used ruger over the Adler, I'm guaranteed to find parts in the future if something breaks.

His request regarding the build,
I'm currently building a shorty 10/22.

11.7 inches is an odd measurement... must be a metric thing.

BC has a silly hunting regulation that considers all barrels shorter then 12" as pistol barrels and not allowed for hunting.

Yup metric, just checked the synopsis, 305mm or 12" is the cutoff in B.C. Anything shorter is considered a handgun.

The Turks must have just decided 30cm was a nice round number.
One could get lucky and there barrel could be off by .3 of an inch and actually measure at 12 inch. Kinda like the prohib smith and Wesson revolvers that actually not prohibited due to barrel length Being a hair long enough due to manufacturing diffrences

I was thinking the same thing, but 300mm is a pretty easy target to hit these days with modern production....

Oops. Missed that. My apologies.

Were talking about cheap built turkish guns ive seen some beauty firearms from turkey anything but tight tolerances
Don't get me wrong.... I'm not talking rolex. I just doubt they will miss the 300mm target by 5mm.

I seem to recall you live out east though your daughter was working at a bank in my neck of the woods when I bought a rifle from you many years ago?

I think BC is the only province with the silly hunting regulation around barrel length being over 305mm

Muzzle device counting for OAL is news to me, thanks for the info! Definitely helping me with my build I'm envisioning
