Coming Soon - Euro M14's from Marstar!

OH MY;
I am beginning to regret this already....
Everyone has more information about them than I do....

I will try to answer this clearly;
1) Italy is in Europe not in the far East as some think....

2) These are 10000000000000000% new guns not "so they are building new receivers and putting the original rifles on the new receivers....?" as posted above.

3) "Perhaps they will simply have some European company do the final assembly and avoid us the need to re-index barrels." PLEASE READ OUR POSTS....

4) SHOOTEMUP seems to get the picture.... Why can't others ??

5) "Made in Italy, could this be a copy of the Beretta BM-59. ??? "
OK let me type M O R E S L O W L Y S O I T C A N B E R E A D the two models are M-14s dammit, NOT any other model....

JOHN

John,

Speculation is the name of the beast here....next thing you know, someone's going to start tossing prices around and people will start complaining that the fanciful price for a rifle of unknown manufacture from Europe is too high, and there's no way that they'd pay that kind of money for it....

And then someone's going to complain about the lack of a bayonet lug, and the welded on flash suppressor (though it took me an average of 2 minutes each to get them off at the M-14 Clinic in Hfx this weekend....8 rifles in a row)

And then someone's going to ask for them in 7.62x39mm...

And that'll lead to someone asking for an M-14 that takes AK mags so it will properly feed the non-existant 7.62x39mm M-14....

And on and on it will go.

Speculation will trump the facts. And everyone will complain. As usual.

I heard each one will come with 10 legal 20 rounders and John is going to fly to each buyer's house and give him a foot massage, but unfortunately the barrels are made of cast zinc, and the stocks are stamped tin while assembly is done in the Italian Embassy in Taiwan.

So I guess you get what you pay for...but seeing as we already have a written guarantee of a sub-$200 price point maybe it's worthwhile. They are supposed to be tack drivers for the first 4 shots, after which they automatically turn 12.6 for reasons no one can explain. They do come with a free Zeiss scope though.

Can I get grandfathered for a real m-14 if I buy one...And I want a happy finish on that foot massage!

Jk...Great news and work folks!

your taking all the fun out of this :D

2 or 3 more days of wild speculation would be fun

I heard that they will take the A.I.A mags. They will also be lined with an unobtainium alloy that John promises will deliver sub-moa right out of the box. There was some talk of free 7.62 ammo for the fist 100 purchasers ...........

Where is all the ammo for these rifles going to come from? Why don't all the retailers and gunnutz on this forum get together, pool their capital, and get the wolf line of ammo from russia legal to import. Anyone have any ideas on cheap 7.62 nato or 308 ammo? The demand for this ammo is only going to increase exponentially.

Okay, let's keep to the facts and quit putting out the speculation or else we're gonna have to lock this thread also! I really hate to threaten things like this.... :nest:

Cheers,
Barney

I want to see a picture.

Would be nice to have some well machined rifles, forged, and with really nice stocks :D I suppose all we can do is wait and see
