Coming Soon - Euro M14's from Marstar!

If this goes off, I wonder of we'll see any M1 Garands or M1 carbines next?
Given that a banged up Garand in shootable condition goes for $600+ these days I imagine that bringing in some newly manufactured rifles could be a pretty profitable venture, especially if they could be sold into the US.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Canada first. Whatever is left can go to the US, although as non-sporting arms, I am not sure how they can.

"The problem is price and volume, having done quite a bit of research into this I can tell you that expected price will be close to the Springfield offerings. "

May I ask how you arrived at this conclusion ?? You have been yo our facility ?? You have looked at our plans ?? Reviewed our finacial forecasts ??

Did you bother to read my posting regarding price ??

"The problem is if you make it in Canada you have to have adults make it, in a shop which follows work place safety and environmental standards. You make in China, and you can use children to make it in a shop with no workplace safety or environmental standards, and whom you pay in rice, and who live in the factory. "

I have never read such an ignorant, irresponsible and uninformed statement....

How did you arrive at this ?? You have been to the factories ??

What has this got to do with our producing these in Italy ? The last time I was there Italy was still in Europe....

As a member of the EU they work under some of the most stringent rules in the world....

I think he was talking about making them in Canada, since the costs might be much higher here without a major capital investment in a modern factory.

ANDY;
I must apologize our midnight shift was away last night making M-14s.... We all multi-task here.

In fact most of the posts are pretty close, when you buy one of our new M-14s in 7.62x39, we provide 100 Hi Cap mags at no charge (don't tell anyone....) Also Ammo is free for life, simply return your empties for more ammo.

All rifles will come with a lifetime free cleaning and maintenance service, Frank will head up our travelling cleaning crew which will travel Canada wide cleaning our customers guns.

Should you wear out the rifle in less than 100000000rounds it will be replace.... Free of course.
Did I forget anything ??
John

Is it also true they will fire lazer beams and that you are including a winning lotto 649 ticket with every 5th rifle sold?

If they do come with 100 round drums, can the magazines and rails be made of balsa wood to lighten the whole thing?

Would 7.62X45 be realistic?

I don't see how, given the possibility of the price being close to $1000, that these rifles would be a 100% better value than a 2009 Polytech, which are extremely good battle rifles, at $525. The fit and finish on the new Polytechs are more than good. I guess, all answers to these types of questions are in the details. Now, if Johnone is saying that these rifles are a % better than the new Polytechs relative to their new, higher price, than I would add, fantastic, and show me the order form.

My Polytech is getting lonely. I think I have decided on a Birthday/Christmas present for myself.

John,
Are you going to be tooling up to produce magazines for the EuroM14's or will you continue with your current supplier?
If you are tooling up to make your own, are there 5/10 mags on the horizon? The 5/5 round mags are a bit of trouble to get out of the gun, and the 5/20s are very large. I think you could sell a lot of them. To me.
Maybe some minor adjustments to the tooling could be made to make AIA enfield mags too. The lack of spare magazines is all that is keeping me from snapping one of those up.

An M14 pistol would be kewl build also.Kewl in the fact that few would want the pistol but everyone would want the mags.(or someone could produce more aia enfield 10 rounders):D
