 Just came back from the trip home. In Klaipeda (Lithuania) gunshop MP446 completed with 2 18rds mags retails for 1380.00LTL or 533.62 CAD.

Glocks are 200 bucks cheaper just across in states as well, don't forget we are in Canada...

Best Regards

Interesting. I'd love to read some reviews. Is it ambi? Price?

Hello , Claven2
Around 4-5 years ago I bought 1 VIKINGs from some store in Quebec for $485.00
New in cosm in box . I was happy . Then after my trip in Silverdale I was happy even more , 'couse I called one guy and he was agre to take it from me for same price .This gun in my opinion not ready for the market . Every third or fourth round - jammed , empty cartridges going out in unpredictable way - mostly in your face . I gave this gun to gunsmith man and being told - send it back for refund . I was ready to do that but my friend ( CKS45 ) took it from me (of course I told him about a problem ) .I reading lots of feedback on internet about VIKING and all people saying - you have to work on this gun before it will shoot well .
Maybe and hopefully now they produced guns with a QUALITY CONTROL .
Maybe ...
Sorry if I hurt somebody feeling - that is my 4 years old experience

The price for the MP446 should remain the same as for the first shipment we received in the Spring 2010 - 795$ CAD. I know, these are cheaper in Europe and in Russia especcially, but unfortunately it is a hard job to bring these here from Russia. We do our best to have the price as lower as possible.
Talking about the quality of these handguns, I would not say it is bad. We tested this handgun during the Spring 2010, passed over 2000 rounds through the pipe - never single jam. Accuracy is very nice.

These handguns used to be brought to Canada for the first time by our good friend - ArmRus dealer. These guys closed their business 4 years ago. I am not sure if it ever cost 485$ from ArmRus, more like 650$, but that was a long time ago.

We will be happy to answer any of your questions regarding these handguns. Also there is a review for this handgun on YouTube, if someone is interested

Maybe the Russian Army Viking with steel frame is a different animal altogether because they seem to have a good reputation for dependability, durability and accuracy.

While it is very similar there are differences. This is not as tough a gun apparently. The barrel is purposely weakened to prevent the use of +P+ AP ammo for instance.

Sounds like automobiles since the seventies. Honestly, how can a pistol manufacturer successfully sell his product that way? "Weaker than before, so even better!"

795.99... There is just no way the Viking is worth that much, not even close. Buy a Glock or a CZ instead, hell even a Norinco...

I'm sorry to the importer but I have to agree.
The Glock is proven, available, has a large aftermarket following and is priced slightly cheaper.

Some people will probably buy the Viking simply for the kicks. The majority will probably step over the Viking and go for the Glock.

...hell even a Norinco...
There ain't nothing wrong with the 'rinco.:D

OMG.... for what? a jammomatic pistol with 300 rounds service life?

I guess Russian firearms getting better then Austrian Glocks
You got it right anything will be better then that...
My buddy got on 3 years ago for around $500 , every second round is FTE.
Good luck on this.
