I enjoy using short, trapper type carbines for hunting and recreational shooting. They carry well and can be very accurate, plus they look very cool when set-up right.
Show pics of your shorties (16 in. or shorter barrels) and mention what they're used for. I.E. Big game, small game, pests, targets etc.

Here's my growing selection of shorties.

Rossi M92 16" .44 Mag. Deer and small game as well as plinking.

I'm getting the urge to build a shorty .458 Magnum now!

Feral cats? I have some of those in my back yard.

Where did you get the .45 ACP Lee Enfield?

Here one of my all time favorite a Winchester Trapper in 44 mag, weight less than 7 pounds including scope shoot around 3 inch @100 metres and very short, would not part with it for nothing ,it account for 6 deers including the biggest i ever killed... JP.

Cool looking rifle but it is not legal to hunt with here in BC we have to have a minimum 12" barrel.

I'm into the T/C Contender carbines = no lever/bolt/semi-auto/pump action even with a 21" - 22" barrel they are still extremely short.

Here is a pic of one of my Contender's with a 14" barrel in 45 Colt which makes the barrel 2" longer than legal to hunt with here in BC.
