This is a question about the compensated barrel on Tanfoglio Gold Eric open gun. On my gun, one part of the barrel turns against the other - I mean the compensated part probably is screwed on the solid part of the barrel, and you can turn one against the other. Is it supposed to be that way, for better aligning the bushing and the guide rod opening during assembly? Or the barrel has to be completely solid? Does it affect accuracy?
One time I tried to locktite the thread, it held for a while, but now it turns again. Should I be worried and do something about it or just leave it be?
