Compensator for Ruger MKIII competition

I just installed that one on my 2245 Mk2, Makes the gun a lot louder, Muzzle flip is cut down. Not like 22LR had much. I noticed that it blows more crap back at you then before and the outside gets much more dirty, Flash is cool. Cost me only 46$
If you are shooting rapid fire , may be O.K.
but than for that you would not use a Ruger
I have shot many Hi-Standard pistols with these on
and they are a pian in the ass to clean, will fill up
with crap and make a lot more blast, But than again
they look neat.

Its no different then any comp...All comps are a pain to clean..
Looks like the Volquartsen ones held on by the same screw (a 6-40?) that holds on the front site.
If so, mine consistently sheared the screws when used with hi velocity rounds, and occasionally did with regular ammo. Then the comp launched downrange.
