If you are shooting rapid fire , may be O.K.
but than for that you would not use a Ruger
I have shot many Hi-Standard pistols with these on
and they are a pian in the ass to clean, will fill up
with crap and make a lot more blast, But than again
they look neat.
A propos... the biggest reason for selling my Walther P22 was the annoying compensator.
Anyone can tell me the compensator for Ruger .22 target pistol any good? Does it worth the money?
Looks like the Volquartsen ones held on by the same screw (a 6-40?) that holds on the front site.
If so, mine consistently sheared the screws when used with hi velocity rounds, and occasionally did with regular ammo. Then the comp launched downrange.
