Complete IUR's

The price and quality is right. The distribution process is off.

x2, this is Canada tho; eveyone frak with us and we frak ourselves if noone else is doing the honors...
at least the good thing with CC/Diemaco is we can't compare them to the US retail price.
I'm gonna need one of them CH for my SA20 tho, and well the whole rifle is very tempting still.

All this whining about business practice. IT IS A BUSINESS designed to make money. Only a fool would believe the bs about "limited" quantities. If a product is selling then you would be foolish to stop selling them. Like nearly all advertising it's a load of manure designed to make you believe there is a deal to be had or that an item is "rare" so you buy it. The cc rifle is no more special, rare, or valuable than any other quality built AR rifle.

At least now they're priced appropriately.

There's nothing's wrong with pointing out their business practices. This kind of stuff has killed other companies reputations. We all know that Colt Canada doesn't need the retail end but that's not an excuse for being deceptive.

This Ă—1000.

Dont sell some thing as a "very limited supply" and then proceed to reduce the price to half and still say its limited after completely saturating the market. Lol.

Yes it moves product, but it also becomes a tread mill that people are starting to bail off of after realizing CC intedntions. I used to want to collect CC, now I am not in the slightest bit interested. None of it is rare except for the IUR rail cover and green furniture it seems.

I dunno, availability does dry up shortly after their releases. I noticed that when the stripped lowers were being offered, they sold like hotcakes, then ended up on EE for less than retail, and now all you see is the most ridonkulous prices. SA20 uppers were commonly available, but any up there now sell rather quickly.

I'm still quite happy with my purchase. Especially since I have the SA15.7 lower for my IUR. The colors match up better and the 15.7 markings are always nice.

You pay a premium on any item when you want it right away. Although I agree the marketing gimmick was pretty poor in taste...

Hopefully this means we can expect to see some different variations of the IUR in the near future. I really wanna to do a 20" IUR build...

Well, on the bright side. People are trying to unload their special limited edition furniture and parts from previous limited releases on the EE to regain some of their funds from poor saps before these new complete limited limited edition guns make it out.

Well o,Dell use to work for colt and his sales guy worked at BlackBerry. So take that for what it is.
all i see is this sales tactic is setting up your customer base not to like you.
that said i did buy some colts but not from them as they won't sell to me.
and yes they do read all of these threads.
so they know.

I grabbed an IUR and Enhanced Lower about 2 months ago for approx $1800+ all in. Poor thing doesn't even have a BCG in it, and been searching for the extended handle since. This all feels like a kick in the teeth.

Sounds to me like they put together a rifle based on spare parts that is now being sold as a complete rifle, "limited supply".....ya, ok, sure. Until the next "limited" supply shows up.

Its just as authentic as the rifles put together by members here, so don't fall for the hype, unless you really want one.

I just jumped on the wagon and picked up a complete IUR with ambi diemaco lower, with CC BCG and charging handle. I'd prefer it with a 14.5" barrel but oh well. Because of the US dollar, its now cheaper than a DD and save for the "blemished" upper, I'm excited to own a piece of Canadian history and craftsmanship.

That being said, had it NOT been for the special offered by SFRC and the $500 i got from VW on account of the diesel fiasco, I would never have picked one up.

I am waiting for Colt Canada to release their LPK one piece at a time. That is when I will start paying more attention.

Some eye candy & IUR #### -- frankly I do not like that way CC is conducting business & they are putting the dealers in a very compromising position, however as long as we keep buying product change is unlikely -- let's try to remember that if we exercised some restraint purchasing maybe we wouldn't be the victims of what's occurred since the original launch of the commercial sales -- hey just one idiots personal opinion!!!!

So does this rifle have an official name or designation from Colt Canada, or is it something the retailers/wholesalers sort of put together? I've seen this one already:
"Enhanced Complete IUR Guns with Colt BCG". Doesn't exactly sound like a model name/number.
