Not scared but I know how the RCMP and Police operate at one time was part of Correctional Services of Canada / interrogation so I do stand behind my comment

Then just state all of the obvious (I deal with gov't in formal, legal contract law situations):
- bad grammar
- bad structure
- not an official letter on letterhead
- too colloquial & friendly sounding, not official sounding
- not written by RCMP lawyers if it is a real RCMP action on a law (the OIC)
- not a letter through the CSAAA and their program
- does not include the May 2020 OIC as reference (gov't would always provide a link or copy of a reference like that)
- did not spell out PS Canada (gov't is never to use an abbreviation without spelling it out the first time)
- did not identify the location for receiving firearms
- gov't doesn't use "quick phone calls" for anything official in regards to laws: everything is official
- no government agent ends a document with "respectfully" (they are taught this is faking submissiveness to rob someone of something)

In all of my dealings with government I have never read a more fake, ignorant, and rude letter in an attempt to be friendly and "chummy" with someone: definitely someone trying to thieve and rob you (either Chinese of RCMP, either way). Gov't should never send such an email unless there is a long standing relationship with one another, and even then something of this formal of a nature would never be sent.

I still, after reading it a couple of times, think whoever wrote that is a smug, egotistical, narcissistic failure.

I think its a legit request. Has all the "tell" characteristics of a "senior" that assumes the deal is done no matter what the outcome of court cases, lobbying or challenges, Canadians will line up and support any action her department is tasked with.

My understanding of the commissioned officers is that if you serve 1 day in the rank you collect a pension at that pay scale. This is what I've been told so I can't really back it up, the commissioned officers have their own pay system and contracts, they aren't part of the union. So unlikely to be waiting around for a pension.

Also if anyone is interested our email addresses are pretty standardized so I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to figure out hers if you wanted to send a polite response.

With the amount of damage this government has caused, its no wonder they want the people disarmed. This liberal government (any liberal for that matter) cannot be trusted. I for one will NOT be disarmed! Not now not ever. History is is recorded for us to learn and to avoid making the same mistakes as people did in the past. Every time a government has removed arms from the people, tyranny, and typically genocide has soon followed. It's no surprise liberals want to delete history.

You’re still not makeing any sense at all I simply asked how the work situation was in Alberta I don’t Beleive I once asked for anyone to give me a job. So in your way of thinking if I were to give you a resume looking for work I more or less begging for work you need to give your head a shake. I have 25 plus years as truck driver/heavy equipment operator Iam well above average with mechanical aptitude in I can weld use torches basicly if my machine goes down for the most part can get it going or at least figure out what’s wrong. I can tell you I’ve never had to beg for work and further more when I drove long haul I had trucking companies in Alberta literally throw themselves at me like a bunch of cheap whores trying to get me to work for them. So could you please explain your original comment about my eastern mindset be as rude or ignorant as you like I have broad shoulders and thick skin lmao. I should also add I am very competent working as a driller and blaster also if you should ever want a classic car restored hit me up.

Did you get the message via email or snail mail? If by email, it is similar in nature to many phishing scam emails I receive. You could probably be justified in ignoring it.
