If it is legit, it's the most unprofessional, ignorant, rude & condescending drivel I have ever seen come from government.

I have a suspicion that Dear Leader Comrade Trudeau will speed up the AR15, mini14, Storm and other scary black rifles as fast possible in order to destroy as many as possible before he looses the next election.

No doubt that is his plan , but it will ultimately fail as a lot of those newly prohibited firearms are non restricted , and the government has zero idea who has them , or where they are ; and Trudeau only has two more years max before he is turfed from the PM's office .

We better hope that he does get turfed, because I think that this is just the start. they know that they have no idea how many newly proh (formerly non rest) firearms there are out there, and they only way to blanket them all is total ban/confiscation of all firearms; they will allow the natives to continue to hunt as per their treaties, and everyone else can go screw themselves. They proved this already with the handgun laws, they initially said that they were going to allow municipalities to decide on their own, but then when they realized that it wasnt going to have the full affect they wanted, well, you know the rest.
Of course, even if they were to stay in power long enough to do this, there would be a percentage of people who will turn over their firearms, and a percentage of people who wont, so they still wont achieve their objective of complete disarmament.
But I really hope Im wrong.

One has not only a legal but a moral responsibility to obey just laws. Conversely, one has a moral responsibility to disobey
unjust laws. The colonists banded together and fought the British because of unfair taxes. If we join together as one group think what we can accomplish.

That didn't apply to businesses. Business certs look different, businesses can transfer (as an example) AR-15 and are issued new certs even now. So they most likely still have theirs.
