No attempts were made to remove the action from the wood stock to look for hidden markings; the previous owner was not interested in risking damage to the wood.
With no visible markings we are left guessing that this is likely Dutch or Belgian, but may possibly be Italian (as per the seller).
While it does seem to be fully functional, it is highly recommended that this gun be carefully inspected before any attempt to fire it.
