Hi! My friend asked me to look at a 1960-70 model 600 Winchester made at Coburg. With an empty chamber and mag tube, the action is stiff but works. When fired, it’s almost impossible to open the chamber/bolt. This is a funny set up that I’ve never seen before. The mag tube moves forward as the bolt is moved forward and rotated into battery. I basically have to hit the bolt with my palm, which inevitably spills a few rounds out of the tube. I’m thinking the extractors are too tight and chamber must be peened over. I could not manually place a round in the chamber. So open the extractors up or /and open the chamber up? Should a round just fall in /out of the chamber? Thanks for any info. Cheers
