In another thread I was asked if I'd post a pic of some Cooey boxes I had. So here is a bit of nastolgia for Cooey collectors. I also have a few boxes of the newer Winchester/Cooey with the model 64's in them. All boxes have the gun inside. Original Cooey boxes were quite plain with just the ends marked on them, nothing fancy. I doubt one would find another Eatonia or Model 62 box in Canada, especially the Eatonia boy's rifle. The box and gun are around 80 years old. The model 62 is the one that has the blue faded writing on the end. It is basically a model 60 that had a provision for the peep sight on the rear. It came with 2 apertures of different sizes for the peep. The second aperture is in the box with the gun.The model 60 that says drilled and tapped for an N3 mount is a presentation gun from DH Cooey to a salesman. I have an unopened N3 mount and 7/8" Weaver scope in the box to go with it.
