For people wanting 3lbs semi automatic centerfire rifles...

We live in a country where we have minimum overall and barrel length requirements...that is always gonna add some size and bulk which = weight.

If you can't carry an 8lbs semi then go with a short single shot, crack barrel rifle OR take up golf and use a cart to carry your equipment.

Really? I thought Alberta allowed .223 for deer. They allow it in Saskatchewan as of last year. They took away pistol calibers and added the smaller rifle rounds. Super fair trade.

Coolest? Hardly. Cz858, Tavor, X95, ACR, XCR, Famae 540, Type 81, Stag10, and pretty much anything built on an ATRS receiver set are all cooler And there are more... I could go on and on and on....

I agree, that combo looks really good, specifically that barrel gives it a different aesthetic.

Not sure how the weight would be an issue, its weight is that of an average bolt action rifle.

I was thinking the same thing. I cant really think of any NR semi autos that are that much lighter, I mean by a substantial amount. You can find a few that are yeah, but we are talking about 1/4 pound here and there.

7.25 pounds is fairly light.
