LOL - whatever fanboys.
I don't have a copy of the M16 TDP with me, but from what is generally known:
1) CORE does NOT have the M16/M4 TDP (Colt, Colt Canada and FN do).
2) half of all Ar makers claim "mil spec" in their ad copy because consumers have no way to verify that. It's bogus.
3) 16" barrels are NOT mil spec.
4) AA gas pistons are NOT mil spec.
5) Chevrons in the magwell are NOT mil spec.
6) Bullet pictograms and enhanced bevelled magwells are NOT mil spec.
7) 4140 for barrel steel is NOT mil spec (single biggest "smoking gun here).
8) Bolts are not HPT which is NOT mil spec.
9) 6 position receiver extensions are NOT mil spec (2, 4 and 5 position extensions are allowed for in the TDP)
10) Polygonal rifling is NOT milspec.
Bushmaster is probably one of the top 5 WORST Ar manufacturers in the business, so company principles having worked there proves nothing.
I'm not trying to say anything is wrong with the Core 15, but to call it mil spec is FRAUDULENT advertising
PS: Nice post count abolt1. Any chance you work for Wantsalls or Core? You sure sound defensive of this new offering with limited reviews.
