For the past 2 years I've be toying with the idea of making my own AR build and every reason was good to push out the expense too a later date. Plus the fact that I would have to setup the Dillon for another caliber. Plus wifey's whining about finding money for guns and none for exotic vacations... Sound familiar ?

Now posting obscene pictures of the Core15 builds on this forum and raving about it was not nice. First thing you know, i'm on the webternet checking what the rave is all about; checking more obscene pics of absolutely amazing AR builds on Core15 and Wanstalls websites; bias reviews... and Bang! Can't sleep no more! I'm obsessed by a MOE piston version and I will not find peace until I get one.

To conclude: Don't ever - EVER - do that to a gunwhore, you SOB.
... Just got off the phone with Gary at Wanstalls and he's now laughing his way to the bank with my monies.

Can someone (Gary?) confirm the following:
a) A2 Flash Hider is screwed on the barrel and removable (not welded); and
b) Barrel muzzle end are threaded at 1/2" x 28

Flash hider IS removable. I have no idea what the threading is. Should be milspec for the A2??

The SQ currently takes an average of 4 weeks for transfers - and yes it still includes non-restricted
Restricted takes longer because once received from the CFP, the SQ scrutinizes them all and phones all contacts listed on your PAL.

Oh wait, it gets better: Wifey is awaiting for her RPAL since... last week of January!!! All that fantastic service from good folks making a living at our tax expenses.

Gary, if feasible, PM me the transfer details and I will expedite/complaint with both, the RCMP and the SQ. That may speed things up a little.
