CORE 15-U.S. made AR's

And with respect to the lifetime warranty (should using it be required) can anyone shed light on what complications arise from them being American made? Is it as simple as sending it back to Wanstalls to have it serviced without any major holdups/delays?

Its been stated before that trying to get an American company to warranty a Canadian owned rifle is a hassle. Whether that due to holdups at the border or whatever Im not certain!

My first response would be contact Gary. Being such a modular rifle he could just swap out an offending part with little issue, as long as it is not the serialized lower.

The CORE 15 warranty depot is IN Canada. If there are any issues they are dealt with directly at Wanstalls. We have lots of parts here but if we dont we may have to bring something up from Oscala FLA...

I will be at the CORE plant in Ocala Florida in a month. I will be sure to say hi from Wanstalls. Justin said they don't have the means to offer tours of the manufacturing floor yet, but there is a storefront.

Well boys and girls, this week is a great week: after many many many too many weeks of waiting for Quebec CFO (Sureté du Québec) to verify (?)/confirm/approve the transfer from Wanstalls: I finally received my CORE15 M4 TAC Rifle (Piston model).

Big thanks to Gary who has patiently and promptly answered all my many questions through this long wait. A true pleasure doing business with such a cool gentleman and I will leave him a positive feedback soon as I am through with this.

I am very please with what I have seen of this rifle so far. Very nicely finished and and excellent fit of components. Stripped it apart to remove the factory grease and inspect components. No #####ing possible, all is to satisfaction. That BCG is a work of art.

I would be curious to know what type of film coated most of the inside of the upper receiver. Dry film lube? Anyway it disappeared pretty fast with a spray of M-Pro 7. It now ready for range duty and that will be this weekend!

Thanks for a superb product Gary.

Bought a core 15 rifle myself from wanstals about a month ago the moe do model all I can say is I love it runs flawlessly no jams double feeds nothin this rifle is a bad ass lead chucking machine . I had Gary a lot about this rifle I was very sceptical seeing as it was my first ar15 and I would like to say thanks gary forall your patients and for answering all my questions it is really nice to be able to talk to people that are willing to take the time to help others out and not just answer the phone and talk to you like you kno absolutely nothing that is an experience I have had with a lot of places but not at all from wanstals these guys are top notch will defiantly be doin business there again in the near future.

Made a trip to the CORE shop!! Wow what a place. Met Izzy the VP and he gave me an impromptu tour of the shop. Got to see tons of aliminium blanks on the CNC machine. One machine was working on a 7.62 upper prototype. Bunch of Moonshiner receivers in trays. Checked out final assembly area and shipping/receiving. Amazing amount of high tech machinery and laser controlled QC measuring. Izzy said they are working towards 3000 rifles a month. We chatted for an hour and discussed various rifle systems. Picked up 3 T shirts and a hat. Cheap stuff, the hat was $5! Apparently Izzy spend some time in Edmonton during his military career. Knew quite about our government issues. Bought some Gator jerky and hit the road in 102 degree heat. Too bad I couldn't take avantage of the AK sale!

I sent an e-mail to be put on a list to know when some more TAC M4 piston rifles are coming in. I can't wait! :D
