Why is everyone saying its the same price as in the US, some of the models are a couple hundred more here....

How come they have pictures if the Rifle is not available yet?

Since they have pictures of it, I can actually see the product I will buy.

I just got off the phone with Israel Anzaldua of GTO.
Apparently what happened here is the operator was not actually coming in contact with the bolt release and was instead "palming" it where the release will be able to hide in the hollow of the palm.Since he was wearing gloves he also lost some tactile sense of where it was in relation to this hollow.

Also,with regard to shorter barrels,the U.S. stare dep't will not allow export of less than 16 inch.

I think you're wrong. "MOE models come with Magpul Hand guard, front and rear sights, pistol grip, 6 position stock and 5/30 round mag."

Plus the fact that anything Restricted/centre fire (and isn't able to use the pistol mag loophole) is limited to 5 rounds across Canada...

WRONG...

A pistol mag is a pistol mag is a pistol mag.. what it fits in is not the issue as long is it was made for a pistol.. and a LAR-15 is a pistol so the mag is OK in these or any place an AR mag can be used..

Excuse my ignorance, I am a newb. Can someone elaborate on why these are allowed 10 and any other firearms that can have 10? Why is this 10 and a SKS is only allowed 5?
