Corwin CZ75 mags

Danno, you might want to keep personal info exchange via PM or email. You might also want to edit your post and remove your mailing address. Not all eyes looking into CGN are your friends or law abiding. Just say'n.

Yup, I PM'd him about that very subject as well.

Maybe the mods can erase it in the mean time?

Made it out to the range last week. Knock on wood all my Corwin mags ran without any hiccups in mt Shadow 2. I did a few mag dumps mixed in with double taps etc. I was worred about nose dives 'cause I had a couple dummy rounds nose dive on me when dry firing at home on a couple occasions. I do notice that the rounds rattle in the mags unlike the MecGar ones.

My buddy ran his Corwin mags through his Shadow 2 in the stall next to mine without any feeding issues BUT there was an issue with one of his mags with his S2. It would jam up the mag-release where you almost had to use two fingers to depress it in order to eject the mags. It was a pretty snug fit. It was repeatable if you slapped the mag into the magwell. I tried it in my S2 and it ran fine and no release issue. Sounds like his mag-release button might be on the high side. I know a couple of my Corwin mags with fitted MecGar +2 bases wouldn't lock up in his S2. I ended up swapping his mag for mine that worked normally in his S2, minus my +2 base.

My factory Cz 18 rounders also rattle at 10 rounds. Kinda acceptable.. now my Cz 18's with tti +2's and grams follower/spring which extends capacity to 23 rounds reloadable, they are silent.

Thought I'd update this thread, Doing some dry fire today when one of the mags started to rattle excessively. Took it apart to find a bug chunk of the front corner of the follower had broken off, Not super thrilled since these mags have seen very light duty so far.

I figured I should probably update.

I ended up finding out how to remove the follower, and there was so much flash and sprue still remaining on it. After smoothing it all out, the mags were bunch smoother and now I figured out how to be able to fully clean mags :)

I had removed the spring and endplate, pushed the follower from the top until one end started to tip over, continued to flip it so it was sitting vertical. Push it past the indents and out it comes. Going in is simple as inserting it and turning up once past the indents. I can make a video if anyone is interested.
