I may totally be out to lunch on this one so please correct the following assumption, but isn’t it the reason why the Nenemis (or any other high-end takedown rifles for that matter) is not being used in-mass by F-Class, BR or other competitive shooters because it wasn’t:
- Designed with that specific shooting activity in mind?
- It being purposely built for super quick take-down & compact transportation capabilities?
- Built with tolerances that will allow it to work in environment where a single-shot BR rifle would cease up immediately?
To say that not until the Nemesis starts winning these competitions that it’ll be a given a second look by some here is a flawed and invalid response IMO. Could it do well orvery well in these competitions? Perhaps it very well could, or perhaps it’d fail miserably.
An unfitting tool for the job at hand it would be if you compare it to these full on custom rifles. I think (hope) you guys would say the same if someone would suggest bringing a BR rifle at a Tactical Rifle competition. Sure it could well outshoot most rifles there, but running around with a BR trophy queen with a beautiful paintjob that weighs 16-17lbs through some a competition isn’t exactly the right tool for the job at hand.
My humble 2cents.
