Ok, I will be the one to ask that question, When is the Pistol version coming out and the 10 rd. pistol mags?

Personally I was hoping for a different stock. I don't care for the stock that is on them now. I thought there was a new one in the works. Hopefully it will materialize.

What are the actual reasons for the design taking so long? I imagine its not as easy as making a bigger XCRL but what actually makes this difficult?

Also, were any design issues with the XCRL identified and fixed?

Wolverine Supplies had the .223/7.62x39 XCR pistols with mags in stock in June. If you're talking a .308 version I suspect after the XCR-M rifle is in production.

Robarms is still a small company that never received military contracts. I imagine they don't have the R&D department of SwissArms and HK to devellop a .308 semi.

Meanwhile they kept perfecting the XCR-L. I feel the XCR-L is now a mature rifle. They could just improve quality control a little but they're doing good. We can wish they applied these lessons and the XCR-M will be top-notch quickly.

It usually takes 4 years to bring a new design out. If they put it out in one or two years, they have not finished yet and are using the customers to beta. Took HK 4 years to turn the 416 into a production ready system.

Look at Masada/ACR - the design was barely consumer ready when it came out 4 years after Magpul flogging it around the first time.

Im going to stick with my m14 shorty until I hear something absolutely fantastic about these rifles after they have been out a while. I bet these will be pricey as well. very pricey.

but it sure does look perdy :D
