Just wondering if anyone had any experiance using 100grn bullets on coyotes and what is does to the pelt? Picked up a 243 to try out this year and do to no spare time over this fall havn't had time to shoot it or work up a load.
Finally had a day off and took it out and shot a few 80 and 100 grn Winchester loads - Super x I think, the ones in the grey box. The 80's seemed to be all over the place, +- 2" while I managed a .760 with the 100's. Untill I get a load worked up with a bullet of my choice, what do you think, 100's ok for saving the pelt or big hole? Thanks guys.
