Most all of the CQBRs I've seen on deployment were wearing the SOPMod stock. They are comfortable, create a good balance and provide an excellent cheek weld for the T1.

I have used the CC stock, but I was running ACOG TA01NSN optics and the eye relief is such that the CC stock worked better for me.

Also, I doubt you'll ever need to use the full length VFG as a CQC tool or to pull up to the next floor of a wrecked building (which isn't easy on the entire front half of the upper) so go with the stubby VFG. It'll save you weight.

I put some duct tape on the sides of the buffer tube so that the stock would have a tighter fit, makes it a bit more dificult the use the last two positions but i never extend past the 4th so i am good. I can post a picture if you want.

I'll give that a try although I might be switching stock back and forth until I really make up my mind, I doubt the SOPMOD will fit over that.
I'm partial to the CC only because it is Canadian and look so old school it give my mod 1 a mod 0 kind of feel, same goes for the KAC grip.
 
Mine is still a work in progress, have a few things to change/add when I have the time and money to do so on both the MK18 and M4A1.

Figured I'd ask this here, does anyone have a line on either the Wilcox or Larue Aimpoint Comp2 mounts?
My Mod0 upper is almost done...just discovered the factory Aimpoint mount isn't going to work though!
 
Also good to know, I saw that they'd started importing them, but didn't see it on their website.
I love me some Larue, should never have sold the one scope mount of theirs I had.
