Of course being proficient is more important than looks but this is a clone thread after all and looks do count. The paint on my rifle is actually the result of a few beers mixed with boredom , spray paint and a laundry bag. Good times.

Owning a "clone" and not shooting it is quite sad actually.

finally fixed the KAC T1 mount and I think I can finally say my MK18 is complete. Only thing I might see in the future for it is a new trigger SSA or KAC I don't know. the lower is my CC SA20's so I'm not sure I want to mess with that anyways.
 
I think it's a case of wanting what's on the other side of the fence.

I have the C8 CQB, the Mod 0 and 1 and while I love all three I really just go back to the Mod 1, but mostly for looks and not functionality. I'm sure other people would disagree and want the total opposite. The problem is how far do you want to take your build. It seemed to me the Mod 1 was on another level (rarity of components and price) if you try and go with the correct SOPMOD optics and accessories.

thanks, I am very fond of it, It was a very long road through a whole lot of coolaid lol
im still switching back and forth between the SOPMOD and the CC stock, the LMT is a better stock but the CC just looks right on there... I don't think I could part with either.

Well finally got the optic I wanted and am feeling this may be the end of the obsession with completing the Mod1. Now on to the small stuff that seems to nag at me. Ahh I hate OCD!
