Priority right now is getting an fde elcan WITH docter/mrds on top but multiple clones are in my future. I am also interested in NV right now even though there is nowhere i could use it in conjunction with my cqbr...

I have both the block 1 and II. The block 1 is my go to for everything. The way I have it set up it is very well balance for me and feels very natural in hand. The block II is more bling and has a heavy Socom barrel but I always go back to the block 1.

I have one in FDE on my M4 clone. I also have a couple of the intermediate style with the cut out for the pinned front sight in FDE as well. I haven't decided what to do with them yet, build a couple of clones, or just keep one, and sell the other, or stick with my current clone, and just sell both.

It is the one that was put on the guns before the current Block II. It allowed the fixed front sight to be retained with the free float rail. I just think of it as the intermediate version.

God's balls, why are there no CQD sling plates anywhere in Canada?
The last time I saw one on eBay sold for $81 USD when just a few days ago, I saw two in the EE (ARF) for $40 for both.
