I received a boydes stock today and some new 5/20 mags, so i decide to try them out, I followed the sticky for testing after putting on a new stock and it failed at first, so removed some of the material from stock where the trigger assembly sits and cycled the 10 time, all clear.
At the range I load up the new mag and shot 17 rounds, the 17th round didn't chamber but just ejected, strange so i put it back in the mag and it fired fine.
I then loaded up the last 3 rounds i had in the 5/20 and fired the first shot with no problems, when i pulled the trigger for the second it fired followed by the third and the bolt cracked, the bottom of the mag blew off, gathered all the brass and all looks normal, no cracks, breaks etc.
I was using reloaded ammo, imr 4895 42gr and cci br2 primers, I weigh each load to make sure its 42gr.
Is this considered a double/slam fire, out of battery firing or something else.
The rest of the rifle seems ok, no idea how this happened and not sure if I trust the m305 any more even if I get a new bolt or replace the rifle.
