Crazy Mountain Lion hunt

I guess to each his own but that sure isn't my idea of a hunt I'd like to do. For me it is about going after animals we eat.

No disrespect to those who hunt cats intended.
 
Do they say what caliber they are shooting? I didn't hear it.
For all we know, they may have been using too light of a caliber, thus requiring multiple shots. Still, it really wasn't one shot one kill, the way it should be.

My 2 cents.
 
hunting a mountain line in a cave with nothing but a revolver... damn those guys have balls. Not my way of hunting but they have balls....
 
not good shooting but as to eating i wouldn't hesitate to cougar on the table the old mountain men all said that cat was the best tasting critter out there next to elk and hearing form guys who have had it all have said its great just needs to be tenderized
 
not my cup of tea either... in fact I find it disgusting but oh well....

a hunter has a responsibility to dispatch an animal quickly. that hero shooting at the end should learn to shoot.

actually they are considered varmint in some parts AND people eat them, please get your facts straight before judging

for the record, I do not lion hunt nor do I think it's something I'm interested in
 
Why Kill such a beautyfull animal for nothing. I feel A shame to a human right now. Poor Cat, Just let it live. Doing this #### is Really bad for Karma. they will pay a big price for actions like this one day.

Some Humans are considered Varmint in some parts too
FAIL for meat they waisted alot of it by shooting many time at the poor thing.
This is not how you hunt for meat and this is not the best Game for meat too.
Use common Sense when hunting pls

What's your point?? Mountain Lions prey on domestic animals in some States and become a nuisance/financial burden much like coyotes here in Ontario. Are you against varmint animal hunting or do you have a soft spot in your heart depending on the species??

I don't agree with the hunting method in that particular case but to paint all hunters with that brush is like painting all firearms owners like some of the idiots in the news we read about.

This is the same mentality that PETA tries to use to get ALL hunting banned.

While you may not agree with it...it is legal...no matter how beautiful you think they are.

So if you can't be supportive of their right to hunt, please refrain from commenting.

Because once they ban one type of hunting...yours may be next.

Do you have a problem with coyote hunters, or gophers, etc?? This is no different than an African safari. Just because it doesnt fall into your relm of "meat hunting" doesnt mean that it is not hunting. When us hunters start dividing ourselves into smaller subsections, we only hurt the sport we love.

PS I still love how one person speeks out against something, then the "followers" chime in and express their disgust...lol...like little internet posers...lol
