Mike, those are Lynx rings. I have an identical set for my ZG47 except mine have the lug to lock them in place on the reciever. They seem pretty good for the money. On their website they list some with levers fo QD too.

Mediums hieghts are .470" from flat of reciever to bottom of scope tube
Highs are .669".

Noel
Hi Noel....I took a look at lynxoptics.com/au site and found that they have all sorts of good stuff....they not only sell med. and high rings but lows as well and of course the QD Lever ring mounts (which you posted above)....I could use at least three sets of low QD levers...Now the hunt is on as to who is the Canadian importer for these rings..I know WSS lists the the med. and high gloss QD's without the levers but I ordered a pair of meds. in May 2006 and Nov. 2006 and have'nt seen anything yet:( ...which may be a good thing if I can find some of those Low QD's with levers...:)
Brownell's listed Lynx rings for Brno's and CZ (non-lever) in the past but not anymore...
I have a pair of Warne QD Lever's but they are heavy and more expensive plus I had to do at least an hours worth of file work to get them to fit properly on one of my 602's....
cheers,

Anybody out there know who sells Lynx Rings for CZ's and Brno's besides WSS?

Mike,
I just got a reply from Maureen @ Lynx.au this morning. I am in the midst of tracking down the same thing, except in the high model for my 21's. I think the wires got crossed in the conversation somewhere because she quoted me $350 for the rings and bases. Note she said rings and bases so I am hoping they have the claw rings and it is just a misunderstanding.

I am looking for a supplier here but am not holding my breath. If I do find something I will post it.

Another thread well curbed. LOL

UPDATE:

Gary from Lynx got back to me. The claw QD rings are 16mm in the high version, or .630" I am waiting to hear part numbers for all three heights in both matte and gloss finishes. If there is enough interest I will talke to the mods about doing a group buy direct from Lynx if they will even do it. I described Mike's frustration to them in his wait with WSS. I will keep you posted. Please post what you would be wanting to get for rough numbers so I have an idea.
They didn't mention price yet but they are more affordable than the CZ rings and much nicer IMO too.

FYI, these 16mm high rings will give enough clearance for a Leupold scope bell with a butler creek flip up with an unaltered 21/22H/F bolt.
My CZ rings are .584" high and they only just clear the flip open caps.

Noel

Noel I was looking at the rings in the Brownell's catalogue and they have 16mm and 19mm. Is it 16mm tall and 19mm tall? And that is to the bottom of the ring isn't it?

Brownells has Warne, Lynx, Brno and maybe a couple other brands that I forget...

Dogleg, Noel, I checked my rings and they appear to be the same, IE: both front rings maybe? There is no indexing tab (or whatever you'd call it) to fit the recess on the receiver. Maybe that's why I never clued in. The rings were not on the rifle when I bought it, but were included in a bag with some brass and bullets.

So I'm probably going to buy some and I want to see if I can get some lower rings also. But I don't know what brand as yet.

It keeps popping back to the top...

I keep checking this "Crossbolt Installation" thread and find nothing new about "Crossbolt Installation".

Don't you guys know how email and private messaging works or how to start a thread?

Chatter chatter chatter.

My gosh Dennis that is some good artwork you have going there!
Keep practicing.

I must say you do fine work as a Gunsmith and I'd hate to loose you to the world of modern art.

Another update boys, the Lynx rings apparently only come with the "nut" whatever that is, and not with a lever. I don't really care too much, if they are cheap enough I can whip up some levers for them pretty fast, or just make a neat little wrench top put in my pack.

Gary from Lynx is forwarding me a dealer who can help us more than WSS can.

And now, I will edit the title of the thread so we don't get infested with more itchy purple trolls. LOL :p

Demonical,
These are Warne QDs for a 602/550 but I've had CZ, Leupold and 2 kinds of Warnes. They all have a lug for the cut-out.

What - no friendship prayers in your edit!

The plea for continued friendship has been added Dennis, just for you!;)

Super, those look like Talley rings to me as the levers are on the charging side of the reciever.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Warne's have the lever on the opposite side and the levers protrude a bit more with sharper edges for your jacket and love handles to enjoy. Ouch!

I would say they are Warnes, but a one screw variation. How old are they? The picture I posted earlier are of an older set, here is yet another variation with the bottom screws opposite the levers. They are, BTW alot easier to get the scope on straight with then the type with the screws hidden under the thumb-levers. To the best of my knowledge these are the latest version.
