
You can bring in pinned mags up to Canada. $100 retail maximum exemption applies. Luckily (I guess) us Canucks can get ban-era mags for nothing, what american wants ten-rounders when they can have full capacity?

It was posted right on the US customs link a while back, provided they aren't controlled items (receivers/barrels/stocks), they were generally GTG with it, again, as long as it was under a hundred dollars.

it states in the customs brochere that you are allowed to import 5000 rounds per person...i brought 10000 rounds of ammo back last weekend between the 3 of us that went down to spokane no problems here they just asked to see the ammo and for christ sake i had to lug this into the cbsa office and they just laughed and made me pay 85$ in duty also i brought back pined ar15 mags that i converted in a hotel room buy taking the base plate off and cutting coat hangers to size they checked it out and i was good to go no problems here my man go

And gun parts can only be exported by a licenced exporter, regardless of whether the parts are specifically controlled or not.
