For $3500+ I expect fantastic machine work and build quality.
“ A guys Crux .308 blew up, he just posted in the CCFR facebook group, the chamber is so sloppy that the brass expands 30 thousandths of an inch out of spec.”

I bought one a year ago. Finally received it about 2 months ago. Took it out to the range and the extractor sheared the lip off after 10 rounds. The rounds were getting stuck in the chamber. Sent it back for warranty and just received it back last week. Will be trying out again on Monday to see if they fixed the issue. Supposedly they have a new bolt design that fixes the issue but I didn't think it was the bolt in the first place. Guess I'll find out tomorrow.
Well, I managed to get through 30 rounds. Mostly .308 but some 7.62 as well. The 7.62 fared better than the .308. Did not lose the extractor lip this time but the extractor still isn't working properly. The empty casings are still getting stuck in the chamber. Every shot was having the empty casing left in the chamber and the bolt tryiong to push the next round into the empty casing. I would have to drop the mag, clear the live round and then I could manually cycle the bolt to get the empty casing out although it was jammed in the chamber pretty tight. I'm in contact with one of the guys on Reddit that first got one of these rifles and he had the exact same issue. We are wondering if maybe they specced the barrels for 7.62 instead of for .308. Either way his rifle is back for warranty for the third time and it seems I have to send mine back as well.
