Hey there CGN
I'm the ?proud? Owner of a VZ 61, in 22lr
Every range session so far, I'm lucky to get through one mag of 20rds without a stoppage of some sort.
I've tried high velocity, standard, round nose, truncated cone, HP, plated and lead..
CCI- stinger and mini mags
Winchester- 333 , and m22
SK match
Federal 525
Ran it wet , breakfree and remoil, with grease: rig , and with Anschutz: ceramic...
Besides the mags being a b$&@h to load, I'm getting light strikes, stove pipes , the odd round even falling back into the receiver and then preventing the bolt from going forward.
I've heard some guys say wildcat works well. I've never run that in any Rimfire before.
I guess blazer might be worth a shot ...
I suppose I'm just venting here.
Would love to hear from any other owners out there and see if this is common?
Is it just that I haven't found the right ammo yet?
It gets a complete tear down and cleaning after every session .
