CSA VZ-58 & Magpul MOE AK-47 Grip?

I'm an admitted neophyte when it comes to the VZ-58 CZ-858 despite owning several. I was just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to mod the Magpul MOE AK-47 pistol grip to fit the CSA VZ 58? I'm not a fan of the FAB Defense or stock Czech military grips. Thanks in advance.

Lucky for us Magpul has an export permit and we can get magpul stuff up here.

With some modification it will fit.

I just bought one from Canadian Tactical Cowboy Supplies with that exact purpose in mind. Looks like a lot of work but I've seen a few mounted and they look great when done right.

What part did you guys dremel to fit? The way I'm looking at it,you'd actually have to dremel the exsisting steel "ring" on the rifle itself to allow the grip to go flush.

Can anyone whose done it help me out?

Take you vz58 grip flip it. Place it on top of Magpul grip. Trace around vz grip onto Magpul grip. Dremel inside line enough that it fits into metal piece on bottom of vz receiver. Enjoy Magpul goodness on vz58. I have 2 on the way for a couple builds

Yeah. On some of the AK grips you end up trimming a bit off the edges. But the last AK grip I bought I just put it on. Never bothered modding and the trigger guard groove holds it firmly. It just sets on top of the metal piece on the receiver. Honestly I'm going to try the same with the Magpul and see how it works. Mine will be here next week. I'll let u know how it fits.

The guys are right above, just trace around the old grip. This is how I did mine and left the grip retainer in. Its a pain in the ass but its possible. Your going to have to trim some fat off the back of the grip as well and open up the screw hole inside the grip a bit because they don't line up at the same angle. Magpul Plum on my VZ.

Cool. Looks like you got yours to marry up pretty close to the trigger guard. I'm alright with a trial and error fitting process if it looks that good.
