My issue with reliability was with the LSBHO feature and not anything to do with functioning of rifle in terms of accuracy, FTF o FTE. The CST bolt stop lever doesn't rely on proprietary magazines to lock the bolt back on the last round but rather the lever hooks onto a milled cutout on the bolt which requires some modifications to get everything aligned and functioning properly. Even then, it is hit and miss as to whether you'll get good reliability with the LSBHO.
Not to dissuade you but if I had to do it all over again, I would have gone in a different direction and not gone with a Ruger platform at all. My T/C R-55s are just better overall rifles and have a properly functioning LSBHO. With the RCMP effectively neutering all hi-cap Ruger magazines, I don't see any point in wanting a Ruger. The T/CR-22 looks to be a much better choice if you want to stick with the Ruger ecosystem.
