Current Ontario Safety Course Results Processing times?

I finished my courses back in late May and got my stamped test results in the mail about 2 weeks later. Must be the busy season for firearms applications.
 
So I got my letter in the mail today from RCMP stating I did not include a stamped copy of my course report and to mail or fax it in. Sooooo another call to the FSESO office and another voice mail left asking where my paperwork is. Such a pain in the ass......
 
So I got a call back today, while I was driving of course so I couldn't answer it. He left a msg stating that they are now processing course done from July 3- July 10 and that I should be receiving my paper work by late next week or early the following week. Progress I guess.

7+ weeks, wow. Also, lucky you for having your calls returned. Perhaps than can see through my politeness and know I'm a jerk and delete my messages lol
 
Well wednesday has come and gone. Still no CFSC report in mail or email. Hoping for tomorrow or Friday so I can get it faxed off. Will post if it shows up. Mandatory 28 day waiting period ends next Friday so thats a plus I guess.
 
Faxed my CFSC results in yesterday (after waiting 7 weeks to receive them), checked status today "completed initial processing. in progress". My 28 day wait period ends this friday. Here's hoping it is issued Monday!!!

If your instructor has his sh!t together you should get them in a few minutes after your practical. All the course results have to be mailed in a week after the course.

I was pretty sure we got them the same day? Forget now... that was 4 years ago.
 
I had my results right after practical but they can't give you copies. They have to be sent in to fseso to get stamped and processed into system. The stamp was dated July 22 so I am sure it was a backlog issue at fseso and not my instructors fault.
 
Update: Got my CFSC and CRFSC results by email today.

CFSC: July 9, 2016
CRFSC: July 10, 2016
FSESO date stamp on each form: August 8, 2016
Received by email: August 30, 2016

Email also mentions that results are only sent out by email. So information given by instructors and on the FSESO website is now out of date.

Forgot to mention: Took my CFSC on July 9th and FSESO stamp on copy is JULY 22.

When I called again last week (week 5) all I was asked was when I had taken my course and when I said July 9th, her response was that they had just finished processing June's results and that I should be getting it in the next "couple weeks." :runaway:

This is frustrating for many reasons because the PAL application is waiting on this paperwork: I can't join the local trap and skeet club without a PAL: and I can't purchase a firearm let alone order one until I get a PAL. So far the only thing that has gone right is the start of my 28 days by mailing in the PAL app without the report!

I was just wondering if this delay in Ontario is being experienced by anyone else right now. I did email my course instructor to make sure paperwork was sent in and if he knows anything about the delay as well and am hoping to hear back soon from him. I also plan on calling again this Friday once it reaches 6 full weeks.

going thru the exact same thing here. i did my course july 8-10. i have been calling them like crazy(think they know me by name now). just keep getting told that they are backlogged....grrrrrrr
