Current quality issues with the Rim-X action - Bolt Gouging.

It feels like any production issues with the RimX were short-lived and are behind us.
I personally asked Zermatt tech support last year about this issue and they said there is no issue.

I've moved to a third barrel on my RimX action, with the first two being listed on the EE. I expect that my RimX action has a great deal of life left. I just wanted a heavier barrel. Hopefully my squirrel-like decision making will save a couple people money in getting into a RimX.

The issue is fixed. I have a newer action. Had one of the troubled ones before this one. Damaged lugs within 3x of cycling the bolt, even when lubed up. The new action has 0 issues so far.
