Custom .22 Benchrest build

I think with the amount it costs to be a business member most people can excuse a business member for what some may consider 'pandering'. I think the 'ignore' button works.

This is without a doubt the poorest example of childish behavior I have ever witnessed in a discussion thread.... The question was asked about a smith, answers were given, someone didn't like one of the answer and proceeded to slag someone who has done more for the shooting community then the "disgruntled" person has shown (seeing as I don't know his name I gonna go out on a limb and just assume I'm right). You don't like Jerry's suggestion. Cool, be an adult, reply "thanks for the input, but I would like to go another direction", then build a bridge and get the **** over it...

"Disgruntled person" (I still don't remember your name and couldn't be bothered enough to scroll up a few inches and read it), you seem very well informed on the minute intricacies of building a rifle. Its such a shame that you come off as an incredulous douche monkey... I hope to never meet you at any events in the future, and if by chance I do, and find out that you are indeed "disgruntled" person... I will have no problem walking away from whatever event we find ourselves at. That's exactly how off putting you are...

Jerry, wow... you have thicker skin then I.... I appreciate your input on all the tidbits of wisdom that you offer, and while I cannot pounce on all the services that you offer I know when to look past your self promotion for your business. But know that when I need something, I have always turned to you in a pinch. Cheers Teo.

That so called expert that changed the subject with an attitude to boot might ant to look up an old article on Ron Smith showing up at a match with a rifle with a barrel he made out of rebar and proceeded to show how things work!

Ding ding winner winner. I need a like button

I also have benefited many times of advises and help from Jerry Teo. He is someone that I have learned to appreciate a lot. I also think that if you don't like his posts, just ignore them but let the other ones who appreciate them be. Did he or did he not give good advises on this .22lr BR topic is not relevant to me. Like all, he is entitled to his opinion and if you don't believe he is right, well just ignore his advises but bashing him is both rude and uncalled for.

Like many here, I am also a member of another forum ( RFC ) and spends lots of time in the Anschutz sub-section. There, we beneficiated for many years of the advises of a business member. It appears that after he also was asked to stop from putting forward his business, he has simply stopped being on the forum and I and many people over there think it is very sad and a big loss.

You can learn a lot of things from threads like this. One thing that you can learn is that, if you want to enjoy shooting, rimfire benchrest is probably something you want to avoid. The attitude of some of the "top people" is clearly crap, you might be the world's most awesome shooters, but you're clearly deficient as people. Life's too short to spend your time around 'people' like this.

Great way to interest people in your infinitesimally small part of the shooting world, but I guess you know what you get walking in after seeing this.

I’m sure glad all the 22 BR shooters I’ve met are not all such pricks. I may not be a contender but still like BR. There are many that are giving of there time and experience . To those that want to help and improve the sport, thanks!
