Custom coyote calls

I'd jump on that too!!

Kerry;
If you can make a duck, goose and/or doe call, you'll have another couple purchases coming from me. I got 3 of your calls already and wouldn't hesitate to buy more...

I think Kerry should make cam 1936 something special for hooking him up with all of these orders... now... If Kerry would just start making doe bleats and duck calls.... hint hint

Took the calls out this morning.

1.6KM walk into the stand...UPHILL dragging my gear on a $20 CT cheap sled that I bought, left my butt pad at home , got about 1/2-3/4 of the way to the stand when I realised I had forgotten my monopod rest in the truck :mad:

Started with the closed reed Jack call mixed with a few of the "Rabid Rabbit" open reed call. Followed that up with some more closed and open reed distress with a KiiYii thrown in here and there.

Got absolutely NO movement today, so after about a 1/2 hr I decided to give a couple of locator howls but got no responses to those either so either I educated some Coyote's with horrible calling or they just weren't within ear shot today. Stayed for another 1/2 hr to see if anything would come in from afar but no such luck.

I know there are Coyote's in the area because I have howled them previously with the Knight & Hale Mega Howler and got instant response.

I did have one wierd moment on my second set of calling, there was a bit of a ruccus behind me in the trees but I could not see through the thick bush to see what exactly it was. Might have been a lone Coyote as there were fresh tracks leading across the clearing to the trees which leads up to the road (tracks went from my right to my left), the road would have been approx 20-30yds directly behind me as well (turns to the right just up from where I was sitting) which means it could have come down the road and into the trees behind me as the wind was quartering from my left towards me. Kind of freaked me out a bit as my peripheral was all but blocked by my hood and the trees and shrubs, could have come right up behind me and molestered me and I wouldn't have seen it coming.

Or it very well could have been a Squirrel or Bird/s making the ruccus as well, since I couldn't see what it was I am only speculating but still unnerving for my first time making a stand and calling.

Thanks, Im sorry I don't make duck and Goose calls.. I do make an Elk call though..

Got a big dog howler, swift, closed reed distress, rabid rabbit extreme from Kerry.
Very nice calls, can't wait to try them later this month. Did not take long to get here even through the christmas break. Also no extra taxes our duty at the border.

###.carverpredatorcalls.com/ (replace x's with w's) Is where I got 5 of them.

Just a standard call with fancy wood is usually $30 shipped. Some are more, others with plain wood are $20. That's about the same price as a commercial call, but they sound way better.

The one with the antler toneboard was not made by carver and was $55. I found it on an American predator hunting board. predator masters.com has a custom calls for sale forum.

The big wolf howler was just under $100. google Cronk calls

Thanks for sharing. Nice looking calls. I just placed an order also. I am pleased with my fox pro but have been looking for some good hand calls for a while now. I think these will prove to be the ones I need. take care:)

We live in a time where quantity and price have taken over for quality and value. Most everything we buy is cheap, mass produced and generally crap. Kerry's calls were something I just had to share with you guys. Excellent quality, both in sound and in workmanship, and an amazing price. Not to mention customer service.

I just hope we can save just one poor soul from trying in vain to get a good howl out of a Primos Hot Dog lol.

LOL... I couldn't agree with you more.... and judging by the influx of people saying they are purchasing from Kerry it is evident that quality is still foremost in people's minds...

Got my calls today from Mr.Carver and what can I say other than wow. They absolutely gorgeous !
I got the Box Elder and it is amazing. They sound fantastic also.
I may get out tomorrow. I got busted to day at 50 ft by a bush mutt and couldn't shoot.

Thanks to
Kerry at Carver calls

How fast caan you produce these kerry?... I am wondering if it wouldn't be worth your while to take up a business membership here... As well as put up an ad in the equipment exchange forum...

Now... On a more personal note... Can you make closed reed howlers?... I would love one in that box elder finish.... I have the coaxer and the distress on the way... Yet no howler... Obviously you can see my dilemma here... :)

I'm a lucky guy! Email sent Kerry.

I received my 5 calls (stricky business set) the other day, they are great, went out and called in a coyote right away, using the Rabid Rabbit Extremeit call.....it came in from 300 yds out and stopped about 70 yds from me, I must of been too cocky because instead of shooting I just watched it instead......I was thinking you will come closer, well I was wrong it saw something it did not like, turned to run and I made a fast careless shot and missed..... The calls are great and they work.....

Yeah yeah... Great... So... Can. I get a closed read howler or what?... Lol...

Not sure your reason for wanting a closed reed one, but if its for ease of use do not worry, I've never used an open reed until I purchased Kerry's howler, and I find it very easy to call with, and you can change the tone any time while blowing with the open reed.

I just want something I am familiar with... I'll admit it... Have made the cheapy closed read screamer and howler work... So trying to translate the success I guess...

I was hesitant also, but the open one is easy to blow, and and they say open reed ones do not freeze up as easily. Also keep in mind that when a yote howls it tone also changes during the call which I do not think you can do as easily with a closed reed.
