Hey
Not sure if this is in the right location or not...
I have a shooting buddy that helped get me into the sport a while back. He served as a high level police officer in Winnipeg for many years, and now is in charge of a security for a university. Anyways, he just decided he will be retiring in April (at 65 or so), and they will probably be holding a dinner for him. I've been thinking for some time about having a comical rifle produced, which would probably be a .22 with easily removable wood stock. My idea was to have a custom stock made, but in the shape of a cane. The shoulder part would be cut off around the back of the grip, and it would curve back around like a regular cane. It would be more for laughs than for shooting.
Would anyone know if this would be concievable? ...or of anyone that would be willing to make one of these? Any ideas on rifles, pricing for the custom job?
Lastly, with legalese, I'm sure it would just have to be 26 inches overall...shouldn't be a problem. If need be, I can just find one with a longer barrel than 18".
Thanks,
Matt
