Pretty much what it says in the title. I have an old .22 FN Trombone, and I've heard it's possible to cycle it without having to fire off the action. Is this true? I see that there's a slide lock in the trigger guard, but as far as I've figured out, all it does is allow my to cycle multiple times. I still need to dry fire (yikes) at the end.
Apologies for being such a total n00b when it comes to rimfire, the only firearms I have experience with are military centre-fire, and I'm not used to the whole "don't dry fire" rule.
