I've seen a few of these around Canada but I can't seem to find one to buy. Were these a one-off? Anymore coming in?
I know Clay was waiting for them in May because I was interested in the same unit, haven't heard from him in a while so I assume they never made it. I still want one and will wait to see if they have any success, meantime I have my Varmint and American 22" to play with.
Is it the threaded barrel that makes this rifle desirable to you? If not then a hack saw will alter your American to the 16 inch length. FS
I have the 452 with a 16" threaded barrel. Great gun and if I find any others I think I'll buy them right up.
Have you tried Clay at prophet river firearms? He may be able to find you one.
Aside from that little creating a prohibited firearm detail, right?

If ya can buy them with a 16 inch barrel, how does chopping an American to 16 become a prohib? FS

- rifles and shotguns that have been altered so that their barrel length is less than 457 mm (about 18 inches) or their overall length is less than 660 mm (about 26 inches); or
- any firearm prescribed as prohibited -- These can be found in the fact sheet listing restricted and prohibited firearms.
