CZ 452 American

Look up.......beside the "Forum" button is one that says........"Dealer Network".
Why don't you give it a try?
You can do it, we can help.

Long shot yes, some reason it has to be NIB? Plenty of nice used ones around. FS

To be honest, because I'm super picky! Certain guns I'm ok with purchasing used (classics, etc.), but I just know myself and I won't be content with one in this instance.

I had one and let it go last year - regretted it since.

I can't believe how fast the supply has dried up.

I currently have a couple emails out to some non-sponsor retailers. We'll see......

I should also note, I'll import one if there is a US retailer that has them in stock. Having said that, just from some Google searching, it looks like they're pretty scarce down there, as well.

To add to the above:

I recently purchased a "NIB" 452 Amercian off the EE. After it was at home and I could give it a thorough inspection, it didn't meet my standards. Now, I don't blame the seller, because it would take someone as picky as I am to find a flaw. Its truly in excellent shape, but not NIB. I will most likely put it on the EE, if I can locate a new one.

Anyway, that's just to show how fussy I am and why I want to purchase brand new, not used.

I recently bought a new American 452 from Guns n Games (a site sponsor), but it was left-handed. There is the detail, I think; the CZ website does not show the 452 American right-handed anymore, it is replaced by the 455. They show the 452 Scout, Lux and left-handed, and I would imagine they will (eventually) retool those models for the 455 as well. I'm not sure why the change, but I do know they have different mags. I recently ordered a few metal 452 mags from Irunguns, as they were hard to source.

ThurnYTaxis,

Yes, I believe all the 452 models will be replaced with the 455 model. This is what's making it difficult to source a right-handed 452(3) American. I've found a few new lefties in my hunt.

Sorry guys, the Ultra linked to is in my hands already. First purchase off thee EE and worked out great. New stock of CZ's is coming soon to dealers, so the grapevine says. Edit. The 452 would be an orphan lost in the system and found by chance. Good luck in your search.

yes, don't go off the website, most dealers don't have the time to keep their inventory updated on the site, as it does move fast, and not a lot have a dedicated person looking after the web inventory. you have to call. Gun's n games got a big shipment of 452's and they go quick.

There is a place in the USA that is often mentioned in CZ on rimfire central for buying new guns, just can't remember the name. FS
